Wanting to get awning ground sheet /carpet my awning is a size 12 does anyone know what size I need I think it might be 5 m x 2.5 m but not sure can anyone help thanks
I think we would need a bit more information, as not all awnings are the same. It may be a "size 12", but that really only refers to the total length through the awning channel. Different makes will be different sizes, and air awnings are probably different to poled ones. So it's a bit like saying how big is a medium sized car?
Perhaps if you say what make of awning, which model, and whether it's air or poled someone may be able to help. Someone on here will know I'm sure.

Good post from Colin (above) because his reply is spot on. Awning manufacturers apply their own sizes independently therefore not universal so you need the make and model of awning first to receive an accurate answer. However, full awnings usually come in two widths which are 2.4 and 3 metres so that would contribute to the size sheet or carpet you need anyway.
Basically the awning length will follow the awning rail down to near the ground then the end walls will be pulled out further to take up some excess length or simply flow down to ground. It may vary slightly if you are not on level ground.
The width will be whatever the awning width is. Some are wider than others.
Generally use a carpet a bit too big and fold the excess under.
