Our 2019 caravan has 7 spoke wheels. According to all the info it should have 10. Does anyone know anything about this? Nearly bought the wrong Al ko lozenge.

Have a look at the Alko website but look at the 2018 model which has 7 spoke Vortex wheels. Is this what you have fitted?

The wheels on our 2018 575 have 7 spokes. The Alko wheel lock came with it. Hope that helps.

Unfortunately, it is important, because you may have been sold a 2018 caravan instead of a 2019. If your caravan is fitted with 2018 seven spoke 15" rims, the lozenge required is No.30.

Well, we have all the info which states it's 2019, so don't know what's going on. Have purchased no, 30 from Ebay.

The manufacturers themselves identify vans as later years than the actual year manufactured as looking to the next season's sales, I think the manufacturers break point is around Aug/Sept IIRC. So Model Year, and Manufactured Date may not coincide.

You can check your VIN/CRIS number for year of manufacture as explained here:

On the year build code, just follow the alphabet, adding a year for each letter. 2018 should be 'I', and 2019 should be 'J'.

Of course, Coachman may have been using up stock of old wheels before changing to new ones, or had supply issues and used old stock wheels rather than delay shipment, or if you didn't have van from new, someone may have swapped them at some point.

Our caravan being a dealer special which are built in batches was built in the September before we purchased it the following March. The production year for a 2019 year caravan would be from August 2018.
