Does anyone else get frustrated trying to book a site online? I spent over an hour this morning trying to find available dates then gave up. There is supposed to be an availability calendar somewhere but no way could I find it. Went on the Caravan Club website and booked within five minutes.
Well I must admit I have never had a problem booking with C&CC online in the past, but I haven't tried yet this year. However, their website isn't the easiest to use.

Indeed the CAMC's website is much easier to use, not just for the ease of booking, but also making changes to existing bookings, as one cannot make any changes to bookings online anymore with C&CC.
Currently I belong to both clubs to see how I get on with CAMC as I am new to tin tents.
However, based on being with CAMC for less than a year and have not even camped at any of their sites yet, I am already feeling more satisfied with them based their website alone and the help they provided in setting up my account with a custom-converted van.

We have just spent a while getting a booking for April, we eventually managed to get a week in Malvern C&CC site. Not our first choice but most booked up.
CMC sites pretty well full too. Of course they open on 12 April and its still school holiday
Still van booked in for service so we can retrieve it from store, get it done put everything in and have a week in it.

It might be worth asking on the CCC forum on the web site
------------- We camped for years. In 2019 we bought an Elddis Avante 454. We like it as it is short (6.9m) and fits in our driveway and has a fixed bed.
We had 127 nights away in the caravan in 2023.

You have to select a region then dates and outfit details.
It then puts up the sites and you go to them, select pitch type. We tried a few, initially it showed availability but then not our dates!
My wife tried later and we managed to get a booking but not our first choices.
It's the second week of the Easter school holidays plenty of availability after that week.
Not the best website.
