Hi All ... We have a Touring Caravan which we now intend to leave on a seasonal pitch... My current insurance company do not offer such a policy that covers for this and to be able to cover it for the odd occasion that we do choose to tow it .. Can any one offer details of an insurer that covers this .. Policy due to expire Mid April so I am keen to get this cover in place . Thank you in advance .. Regards Campuz
Hi campuz I’m not 100% on this but we looked through several online policies and a lot had many things not covered and get out clauses.
We eventually paid slightly more and insured through the camping and caravaning club. ( we are members ).
Thank god so far we have not had to use them touch wood. However the policy looks good. It may be worth contacting them direct and seeing if they can sort you a suitable policy

Thank you for your prompt suggestion .. I am not a member as being seasonal seems to negate the need to be a member , But I may approach them on this topic … again Many thanks for your advise.
Have you enquired on the site you are going to be on? Sometimes they have a block policy that you can be added on to. We had a seasonal pitch and got ours through a broker, sorry can’t recall who it was with as it was a few years ago.
I store my caravan in France, which is pretty useless at the moment, but one of the conditions is valid insurance. I was with Towergate but they whacked their prices up and I got it through Camping and Caravanning club at a much cheaper rate. I'm not a member, but they will still gladly sell you insurance if you're eligible.
