Hi all
Looking to move our van to a cheaper storage site if possible. Would like it to be within a 10 mile radius of Chelmsford. Don’t mind either a site or farmers field etc but must be secure and gated. Thanks all

Try using the camp site search at the top of the page and use the filters to search for storage sites.

What sort of site are you on at the moment and what are the annual costs? Generally the costs rise as you get closer to highly populated areas where people are unlikely to be able to store caravans at home.

I will do that, thanks Rob. It’s at Barnfield now, secure site but can’t keep up with the 10% increase every year, £680 atm so wanted somewhere cheaper.

Hi is the Colchester country park caravan site to far away from you says 360 + vat for storage but my be full up .

when we got our caravan I found 1 space in Northamptonshire! but when I drove pass CCP just before Xmas it did look like that they may have had a space or 2 good luck

Extremely lucky! Since last year (after lockdown) it’s gone up from £575 to £680, so an increase of £105! I get things go up but by that much?

I live in Loughton and when I was looking a couple of years back, the only site I could find that wasn't full was near Thetford but at only £205 a year I took it. And it has proved handy for me as I like going to the Suffolk and Norfolk coasts anyway.
