Hi, we have a Truma space heater in our 'van (both about 15 years old). Sometimes the heater bit works on mains electric, other times not (with the fan on or off). It's not an overheat problem as it does it from cold or hot (unless overheat protection is failing) and electric supply seems ok (green light on thermostat stays on even when failed).
Apart from it being old, anyone any ideas?

Hi is it the type that has two slider controls on top? If so they are prone to failing our first van had this type and we had to have it repaired

I'm not sure with that type, but with all manual switches, they can fail, hope someone can help you with your problem
