We currently have our van in storage, and pop away a few times over the summer. Storage is under cover and has power provided FOC.
My wife has suggested that she would like to get the van set on a seasonal pitch next year, which sounds fine as it would save me moving the van, and we might make more use of it if it is already set up and there is no need to pack away on the Sunday morning.
My current question is what do people do with their vans when it is not set up on site? The sites I am looking at seem to be open April - November, so we would still need somewhere to put the van for 4-5 months of the year and there is no room outside our house.
We have never had a seasonal pitch or had our caravan in storage, but I get the impression that many of the sites that offer seasonal pitches also do storage, so you may not have a problem. The best thing to do when you find a site you like is to ask them. They may have a suitable package they can offer so you can keep it there all year round.

Some seasonal pitches also have storage facility for winter storage, have you asked the site where yours is going to be pitched?.
Other than that, I think its a case of paying your storage where it is now, and only using it half the year, at least you will have a storage spot on tap if you don't get on with the seasonal pitch. Maybe, just maybe, you could come to an agreement with your storage place.
I can’t answer from personal experience, as we have never used a seasonal site, however when I was looking at them last year I noticed that many of the sites that offer seasonal pitches also offer winter storage on the same site for customers who make use of their seasonal pitches.
I’ve seen sites where the caravan is towed away to storage & towed back out when it’s needed, throughout the year. It means the pitch can be used by others rather than a “site full” sign when most of the caravans are empty, mid week. I’m pretty sure the C&CC site at Moffat does that because I remember the tractor; it’s a very busy site, less busy C&CC sites leave the caravan on the pitch. Some sites insist you take down the awning when you go, others don’t (so you might turn up to find it wrecked after gales - seen that often enough too).
Hope the OP finds their perfect pitch.
