For some reason my wife decided to close and lock the caravan door with the flyscreen still across.
Why I hear you ask?
Apparently she thought it would be a good idea and would save her having to put the fly screen across when she next opens the door for the van to air.

The door opens about 10mm now and I just know if I pull any harder something is gonna break.
All the windows and sunroofs are fully closed and the door cannot be taken off the hinge from the outside as far as I can tell.

Suggestions greatly appreciated.

are you saying ,you think the flyscreen is preventing the door from opening from the outside ?
that seems unlikely, it seems to me that the door is not unlocked enough, to alow it to open, can you prise the door open a little at the top ,and look down to see whats stopping it opening.
maybe theres no option but to force it.
but mine sticks on the rubber every time its left for a few weeks , i just have to ease it open, keep forgetting to spray the seal with silicon spray,
also , if all else fails , the windows can be opened from the outside , by carefully, sliding a wire coat hanger, through the window seal , and "hook" the far window catch open, then do the same with the other catches. then maybe lift a youngster inside to open the door

It was as I said.
Literally seconds after posting I had a brainwave. I emptied one of the side lockers and had my 12 year old daughter successfully attempt to climb through under the seating area and out the small cupboard door opposite.
She couldn't open it and so opened the window for me to get in (at 18st and 6'2" this was an achievement)
The door handle on the inside had become entwined with the square handle of the flyscreen.
Anyway sorted now and lessons learnt. Keep the van keys away from the missus and her good ideas

Glad you got sorted! I was just about to suggest going in through a locker as I had to do that many years ago for some reason that I have now completely forgotten!
