Got to say parking with lorries can be really noisy, especially if they're refrigerated ones, oh and the comings and goings all night.

Plus as someone else said, add a couple of hours to your journey.   

We live in South Devon, near Salcombe and we know from people the traffic is a nightmare coming this way or going down to Cornwall.   

Also check out the Tamar Bridge as there has been lane closures due to work being carried out. I'm not sure if that's finished though.

I think I'd leave about 2/3 in the morning.
