Hi All . I have a problem with my Zig unit , not supplying the 12v electrical devices in my caravan , which is a 1994 Elddis Typhoon XL . I recently discovered that my battery needed replacing , as it wouldn't charge , and nothing would work , including the motor mover . New battery installed this week , and everything works fine , and indicator is full green on battery indicator . However, when I disconnect the mains and switch on a light etc, battery indicator drops right off , and into the red , and nothing will work .
I have checked both fuses on the Zig unit , and they are o.k. On/off indicator on Zig unit is illuminated when on .
Any ideas would be gratefully appreciated
Thanks .
Steve .

Steve .
It would appear to me from what you are saying that quite the opposite is happening. If everything is working ok when the mains is connected, it looks like everything is running off the Zig unit, not the battery.
If the battery and its associated circuitry was ok, everything would be fine with the mains disconnected.
------------- Best Regards,
Colin
