We have an old (2006) twin axle caravan stored / sited a long way from our home. Its probably time to sell as we are not getting there to use it much and it is developing teething problems through lack of use which I usually fix when using the 'van but doesn't get the holiday of to a great start!
We are not in a position to show private purchasers around the 'van so are wondering what others have done in this position? The caravan is in the Lake District.
Drive to the storage place and take as many photos as possible and add them to the for sale listing?
I seriously doubt if anyone would part with their money without any photos in an advertisement.
Good luck with the sale.

Take it to a local caravan dealer to see how much they will offer. May not be the best solution but at least it takes all the hassle of taking photos and meeting people who want to view.
If I were buying a caravan privately I would want to take a very good look at the caravan and meet the people selling it. I wouldn't even consider it otherwise.
Probably a question of counting your losses. Have a look round a few dealers and see who seems short of used stock. Just at the moment is probably the best time to do it. You will not get anything like its value, but it will be a problem off your mind.
If it's stored/sited on a site, will the site owner help or show it to others. The simplest is to sell it to someone who wants it on the same site. The owner will gain because he has another store/site customer.
Does he have a noticeboard or for sale folder on the site.

All the caravan dealerships have nothing for sale, so would take it.
I've just sold my van on Monday for 50% more than the caravan dealership offered me, Mine was deamed too old for them at 2010.
We are likely going to sell our van soon as well, simple reason kids aren’t enjoying caravanning at all, even after the nice weather we have had. I won’t force them into it, would rather strike now while prices are reasonably good for sellers.
Disappointing how it’s panned out but in the grand scheme of things not a huge problem, had 3 breaks away in it and we could well get our money back
