Our caravan wardrobe is quite small which is the norm with the majority of touring caravans therefore extra space to hang coats and other garments would be a bonus. Finally there is a solution which is not expensive which come in a pack of 4 which you can see in the link below.
The ideas there, but most wardrobes are short, as in have a shelf about a yard under the rail. Some clothes drag on whatevers on the shelf from a regular hangar. So losing upto a foot isn't going to cut it.

They have been around for literally years. We've had a variation of that for at least a decade.
You do need the height within the wardrobe though, as hinted at above.
I'd be surprised if many caravan wardrobes would take the extra length, but then I am far from experienced when it comes to caravan wardrobes. I'm sure there are some out there that would cope?
I agree Mucker1884 that the length would be an issue which I hadn't really thought about as there is only about a foot left from the base of a coat to the bottom of the wardrobe anyway as directly below the wardrobe base is the top platform for a couple of pull out drawers underneath. However, I think the hangers were designed mainly for wardrobes in the home but as my wife always says that the wardrobe is the most unpractical place in the caravan I thought the hangers maybe an alternative to gain that extra space needed but doesn't seem the case after all.
I have plenty of drawers for storage, however, no room for a short let alone long wardrobe.
I have suction or stick-on hooks, and one of those folding multi hanger contraption that can take 4 hangers in the bathroom.
I have as many clothing rolled up or folded to go into the drawers as much as possible, and use the back of the front seats to hang fleeces and the outer coat.
I have managed without hanging up much except for the dressing gown and perhaps a shirt that I would like to wear more than once.

Useful bit of kit except when you have just come in with a wet coat and want a shower
It was not cheap but works well
also used as a wet towel hanger
at this point the coats are in the car
