Hi this is the post copied from Facebook
My grandparents caravan has been stolen last night from Kingstown, from their driveway. Between the times of 10pm 27th august and 6am 28th august!

They have cut the security post out, cut off all the wheel locks and have cut through all the cables charging the batteries!
The track marks on the grass looks like it’s been loaded onto a flatbed or loader.

The make, model and colour of the caravan is a
“swift alpine 4” in white with one gold stripe and one silver stripe (seen in picture below) and with a blue front window protector on
The reg on the back will be
“ND61 ARF”
If it hasn’t been removed.

We have the VIN number of the caravan and the inside has been modified so is not standard, and is easily identified, there are also stickers from the “caravan and camping club” and “caravan and motorhome club” in the front window.

Inside contains a blow up awning that is grey and black, the curtains inside are grey with black patterned lines and is full of cutlery, crockery, bedding, outdoor chairs and everything you would need.

💢❗️Please, please can everyone keep an eye out for it and make it too hot to handle❗️💢

If you do see it please contact the police as they have been informed!

I'm amazed that nobody heard anything! It just goes to show though it doesn't really matter what security measures you take, a determined thief will still take it, which is one reason I only bother with cheap security devices as they act as a deterrent to the casual thief.

I hope it turns up and is not too badly damaged.

Some years ago I had a Mazda Bongo stolen from right outside my house, and that had an alarm and immobiliser on it. I suspected at the time that it too was loaded onto a truck or trailer of some kind.

Best Regards,
Colin

If you look in the Website News forum (near the bottom of the page), there’s a Stolen Unit Database in there that Ratty looks after.

XVI yes?

As well is two words!
How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
