Hi. I recently bought a air windbreak set it up in the garden it was fine so packed it away and took it to site with us the next day after we had set up everything else we proceeded to inflate the windbreak and everything seemed to be fine. Later in the day the wind got up a bit and the windbreak was folding over then springing back up again later that evening I went to check and one of the posts had loosened itself out the ground this was at 10PM at night we quickly took it down and packed it away the next morning. Has anyone else experienced this with an air windbreak it could just be that it was just a tad too windy. The windbreak is a Royal 3 panel which only has tube points on the upright post the rest is pegged out.
We have the Dometic Kampa 5 air windbreak and it has been in some strong winds with no issue of it bending over. If it is bending over in a light wind it probably has not been inflated enough.

I have the Vango modular air windbreaks, they are really good, well made, very sturdy, they dont move in quite strong winds.
They can also be added to to create a massive windbreak.
Not cheap but worth the money

Thats some windbreak it could have been used by the Cowboys to keep the Indians at bay
Its the old 'seaside' stripey wooden poled versions for us. Up and down in seconds, no weight, no lines all over the place, and cost a tenner. Whats not to like.

I see what you mean but those are no good on solid hard standing pitches of which are grassed around them but I think that they have concrete under the grass or it feels like it.
I must be missing something here with these here air windbreaks.
Having just been away twelve caravans/MH's on site, eleven of them had air windbreaks. So looked them up and can't believe the cost of them.
Now IMO they are like air awnings, just not worth the ridiculous cost.
Personally have never felt the need for a windbreak.
