The trouble with a standard list is it is not personal to you and will tend to be very large. By that I mean we all have special items that we put in our caravan. We have over the many years of caravanning found that lists have let me down. To overcome this I have everything that I need and this stays in the caravan. Except for clothes, food and anything that you need day to day at home. We used to load the van from scratch and invariably forget important items (cork screw and bottle opener).

We made our own list that we check before every trip.
Whilst most kitchen/dining equipment stays in the 'van, we don't keep textiles or food in there. Also things like sunglasses, sunhats, sun block, bite cream, need replacing each time.

I have to use filing cards; there’s a ‘theme’ for each one (sleeping, entertainment, clothes for warm, clothes for cold, maps, dog, walking, cycling etc) & incudes things to do before we go (eg turn water heating off). Some things live in the MH (digital radio, one tinned meal, a few laundry pods, ground coffee, dog food, tea towels etc).
I leave some underwear out there after I had to do a hand wash every night on one trip, because I didn’t read my “clothes” card properly; I only had the undies I was wearing & wasn’t near a town to buy some more.
