I would send them your copy of the report and ask them to confirm that it reads the same as the copy they provided.

As I previously stated these things are extremely easy to doctor and then reprint.

When we bought a second hand caravan we got an independent damp report.
The firm that did the damp report before you bought it seems at fault here. The caravan appears to have been sold in good faith.

Hi I know I shouldn’t say this but within 2 hours of me asking the seller if it had a damp report he had took it and it was done ,there are not many places where you can get it done in a two hours on a sat morning not forgetting we are talking of a large caravan company if you see what I am saying

I would definitely either put it down to experience or consult a solicitor. I doubt many on here can do much more than I can, which is offer an unqualified opinion. On a matter like this your own opinion is every bit as good as mine. If you want to take it any further you need proper legal advice.

I know I keep saying this Mecgc, but it looks highly suspicious to me.

Send them a copy of your report and ask them to check if it is the same as the one they issued.

I am sure that if they are a reputable company they would not look kindly on someone doctoring their reports.
