hi i have a scrieber 110 watt transformer in my 1993 rapido folding van it must be quite old has cant find anything about it it,s working o.k but would like to replace it , can any one recommend a good replacement for it, would like to carry a spare as you never know with something old, thanks

I can't really recommend anything in particular, but I always believe in the idea of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". However, if I wanted to get one as a spare (quite a good idea) I would have a look on ebay for something similar.

A caravan accessory shop may be the best place to buy a replacement transformer but they will most likely ask for the details on the information plate on the existing transformer so they can provide an exact unit with the same rating. That's what I did when my transformer malfunctioned on my previous caravan.

It is just a standard item as fitted in most caravans. Search eBay caravan transformer/charger & you will find.
