How does a sage know everything about everything? or does he? or does he just think he does?
Remember, if you buy something you bought it, not brought it.
I'm not sure that the law on towing actually mentions mirrors, but it definitely does lay down the rearwards visibility that you must have. If your existing mirrors give you the visibility required by law, you do not need additional mirrors. Please do check the legal requirements regarding visibility as shown in Saxo1's post.
romperstomper I have a gobur carousel which I tow with a vauxhall Antara, your rapido is of a similar height and width, I can see down the sides with the car mirrors, but struggle to see over the top for the required distance, I therefore use milenco aero mirrors which give me better vision than my car mirrors which in my mind is a lot safer but also makes sure I am within the law, I had a pennine folding camper before the current caravan and probably could have got away without the mirrors as it wasn’t quite as wide as the car and I could see over the top at what was behind me but decided to buy the mirrors for peace of mind
