I've recently bought an awning however it didn't come with curtains. There aren't any fixings on awning to accommodate curtains so I'm thinking of adding a J rail to attach some. Does anyone know where I can purchase a length of J rail as I can't find a supplier anywhere? Those I've found are either out of stock or collection only? Any help greatly appreciated, cheers!
What marg6 (above post) is trying to explain is the fact that you can buy awning curtain rods which are tubular in design which one is a bigger diameter tube than the other making it telescopic. This enables to extend the rods to the width of the awning window of any size. All that is required is a sewn in loop at each end of each window to hang the telescopic curtain rods on which is much easier than trying to stitch a 'J' rail right across the length of each window. Below is a link showing the curtain rods to gain a brief idea what they look like.
Thank you both marj6 and tango55, I'm not familiar with this style of window fitting but will look into it. I was thinking of adding J rails because I'd purchased curtains off e bay which has that style of J hooks on them. Nevertheless I'm open to alternative ideas thanks.👍👍
