Hi. Got my Bailey senator on a seasonal pitch. Went last weekend and plunged ehu in. Went in van and switched electrics on and shows no volts. Looked in fuses and took the one out for battery . Looked OK but replaced it anyway. Still nothing. Pulled fuse back out and notice gauge Went up to 13.8 !
Am baffled. Any help appreciated.
Thanks
I think your battery might be dead or something in the lead to
the battery is shorting.
Pulling the fuse to the battery means no current to it.The 13.8v is the power supply output.
If you have a voltmeter check the battery voltage with the leads off.

Sounds like it's running off the EHU
via the charger. Unplug the EHU & check the battery via a multimeter for a true indication of what is going on.
My guess is that your battery is cooked and needs replacing.
That's why I'm confused 😕. I'm no expert. All I can think is fuse is in a ciciut with transformer or something else and isn't working so power is going in and straight out the battery.

Cheers all. Everything works without the fuse in. Just worried it may have been dangerous 😳
it all works, because you are now running from the transformer, you ned to check your supply to the charger, if that shows power to it then its your battery at fault (which is generally the case at this time of year with all these type of battery related questions).
As a very easy check you can unplug the ehu and if you still have 12 volt power it is coming from the battery. If the battery is low the lights etc will be dim and the voltmeter will be low.
Plug EHU back in and if voltmeter goes up to 13.8 volts it means the charger is working.
It could simply be dirty contact at the fuse and you have cleaned it by wiggling and removing etc.
