Kojack have a pretty poor reputation on quality despite the EXTORTIONATE price ... it is after all only a cheap standard hydraulic bottle jack worth a few pounds!!! ... plenty of reports of oil leaks on their shoddy version! The brackets are what you are really paying for!
I wouldn't dream of using a Kojac type jack with such a small footprint (it WILL sink into softish ground unless using a large board under it!) for levelling, and far far from my idea of a stable support, last thing you need is your caravan slipping off!
As to levelling, I've tried ramps, but they are a total pain if using a Alko wheel lock (otherwise fine!), I've tried the 'wedge' screw activated wheel raiser, but it didn't fit my wheels well and was a struggle to fit! I now have a Lock'n'Level inflatable bag which to be honest I've yet to use so can't really comment on from experience.
Considering that the standard Alko caravan chassis is so feeble (do NOT simple jack under a basic chassis rail!!!) it needs an additional bracket to enable it to be jacked up without causing damage, otherwise ONLY under the rather difficult to access and VERY low clearance axle, Jo Public without any other options is forced to buy grossly overpriced Alko or Kojack type products with their associated brackets for jacking/wheel changing! The only alternative seems to be a low profile trolley jack to go under the axle, but then you need solid level ground for it to run on!
I have the advantage of being a professional engineer, so I made (and calculated safe loading figures!) my own brackets for the caravan chassis, then purchased a cheap (Lidl/Aldi middle aisle - 3 year warranty!) standard 2 tonne bottle jack, for the purpose of wheel changing.
As an aside. Often overlooked, the average standard issue car jack is only rated at roughly one third of the weight of a car, as it only needs to lift ONE wheel! A caravan weighs around the same weight as a car, BUT the caravan jack needs to lift something in excess of (caravans are NOT equally weight distrubuted side to side!) half it's weight! .... you're likely break a standard car jack!
