Hi, When i turn on the water pump and open tap, hot or cold selection, the water bypasses the hot water tank, through the Hot Water Outlet Connection NR Valve and goes straight out of the clear plastic outlet tube under the van. It's Sterling Europa 490 with Trauma system.
The yellow drain tap is in the correct position, horizontal to the floor and exterior drain plug is intact.

The yellow drain tap might be in the correct position, but is it actually closing.?

On the tank is a red outlet valve and a clear pipe from it going down through the floor. If it is this that the water is going out you need to replace it. Inside the red plastic there is a small ball that seals. This in time wears and falls out through the pipe,thus loosing the seal. I have always carried a spare one in the caravan for years as this is quite common.

Just check that the replacement valve has the same connections as the original one.

They were different when I had to change the valve on our caravan, which meant a bit of running around to find adapters.
