I have Truma Euro Movers on my caravan (2006 model) and one of the motors is noisier than the other but both appear to be running ok. Both rollers are set at 20mm from the tyres when in the off position. Tyre pressures are correct at 65PSI. When trying to get up a 1 in 4.3 gradient and then over a 5mm step the van turns to one side and I have to exert all my strength and push in the opposite direction to get the van over the slight step. Manual says it should be capable of climbing up a 1 in 4 gradient and over a 20mm step. Any ideas on what may be wrong? Any help would be much appreciated.
We had a powrtouch classic on our last caravan and only a few weeks left on the 5 year warranty, when one started making a noise but working perfectly well. Rang Powrtouch as near end of warranty and sent me a new motor no quibble. I fitted new one and then stripped the old one and replaced a bearing. Thus I have had a spare lying in my garage for about 6 years. Have now bought a new caravan 3 weeks ago and have a Powrtouch Evolution auto, so have a spare motor which will be no use to me.
