We're going onto a seasonal pitch this year as struggling to get away as much as we'd like due to work! Bought a full awning size 18 and needing an awning carpet. We're planning on getting foam tiles and want a carpet on top.
What size will we need for a size 18 awning?
We've seen this one and wonder whether this would be fairly comfortable? We had an old cheaper breathable one for our porch awning but it wasn't very comfortable to walk on! Thanks for any help!

It would be best to measure the length of your caravan from the bottom of the awning rail at the front to the bottom of the awning rail at the back along the ground and by the depth of the awning you have ordered.

The awning must have a footprint size. Thats your carpet.

I agree and and this is the best way of checking what size carpet you need but what Tina is saying by the depth of awning is the measurement from the caravan side to the awning width as there are usually two sizes which is 2.4 metres or 3 metres so you need to check the depth of the awning to determine what width carpet you need.

Great thanks for your help all managed to find the footprint size may also measure the caravan tomorrow to make sure!

Any recommendation of which carpet there's so many!

We have an Isabella Bolon carpet which is now nearly 8 years old and it looks good as new. More expensive than other brands, but worth paying the extra.
