i wonder how the battery had charge in it.. if it did it suggests the wire cutting was recent otherwise the battery would have been flat..

if all the mains cables were cut , how did you get the sockets working and the phone to charge,

The lights was working, and when I put the charger to my phone on it worked for about 3-5 seconds and that was it. It wouldn't work again. That's why we couldn't work out why it stopped after a few seconds. Until the electrician found everything completely cut. If u don't believe me I'm happy to show you pictures!!! 😁😁👍👍👍🫡🫡

Only way I can explain the charger working for a few seconds, and this is a pure guess, is some kind of residual charge left in it from when it was previously used. No way it could have powered up with the mains wires cut. The lights would have been off the battery.
