Hi.
We are members of Green flag and we have roadside and recovery. We are thinking about upgrading to premium UK.
What is the difference in the two options?
Would premium UK be the best option.

WE have Mayday by Green Flag through the CMC and as I understand it you do get extra features like on to your holiday destination or home whichever you prefer. Sometimes its about limitations of size. Obviously to use Mayday you need to be a member.

We are Mayday members and are on Premium for both our cars. Cost is about £130 and even includes chauffeur in the event you cannot drive.

We are Caravan club members and for an extra £30 I think we will upgrade to premium if it means peace of mind.

Don't assume that because you've paid for a service you will get it. We have Mayday Premium and the axle broke on our caravan. Mayday do not have their own breakdown service. We were sent a recovery vehicle that was not ideal (the one we needed had a caravan stored on it ready for removal the following day) and resulted in further damage to our caravan. The only problem is that there's no real alternative.

A word of advice, don't accept the renewal quote. Go to the website and check the price there first. I renewed last year at half the price of the renewal notice and this year it was about £35 less
