We've had our 2016 Sprite Major 4SB since new. We use it regularly, and have taken her to France a few times and once to Spain. So it's been about a bit, but the past few years we've not ventured more than 50 or so miles from our storage. We had a recurring problem with the water supply from new. Every time I refill the aquaroll I have to bleed the system. Always. A pest, but not a labour of Hercules. Two weeks ago couldn't get any supply through at all. Just hissing and bubbling noises, but no water. I tried everything, by passed the inlet housing and it sucked up a jug of water. So, took to the dealer for replacement inlet housing. As they were pushing the van into the workshop, the techs noticed a problem. The front locker was parting company from the bulkhead of the van. Evidently they are attached by a sort of angle iron and short screws which had come adrift. This makes the van "bounce" at the front and could be dangerous. A couple of hours later, we had both running water and a bounce free van. Please check the bounce factor, it's a common problem on Sprites apparently. Just open the front locker, push down on the front wall and see if the van bounces. If it does, get it fixed. Stay safe.

We have exactly the same van but its a 2017, there was a recall on this problem about COVID time and they were asking people to get them checked, Swift arranged for a man to come to the storage yard and checked it out, ours was fine. I am surprised that they didn't contact you.

Nobody did. Don't know why, our address hadn't changed. We had the problem spotted at the dealers we bought it from too! I may contact Swift for compensation. I paid nearly £300 for fixing it!

At least now you know why the dealership spotted the issue so quickly as they were aware of the fault.

Thank you all for your responses. I'm pretty miffed that I was somehow left off the recall. As I said before, none of my contact details have changed in the 7 years we've had the van.

Just an update on my situation. I hot in touch with the dealer and Swift. The dealer was dismissive. Swift offered to pay for the cost of repair which I accepted. They did say the recall was for 2017 vans, but I did suggest that given my experience, they alert 2016 owners about this problem. Thank you all for your input.
