It would help if the OP informed us whether they have a solar panel fitted or not as that will keep the battery charged up.

I would lace the place - mainly in the lockers where the vents are, with mouse traps. And put those sticky 'crittur traps' all over to get the crawlies. You do not want even one mouse in there, as it could literally write the van off with chewing everything. Maybe sounds scary, but on the flip side, ive never even seen a mouse at our storage, let alone had one in the van.

No doubt that rodent damage can be catastrophic, and certainly heard the odd report of vans falling victim, but do suspect the storage location has a HUGE impact on risk.
Farms usually have significant rodent population, so would assume that puts vans at greater risk. My storage yard is part of a camp site, the ground is compacted crushed rock/gravel with no vegetation other than the odd weed, I've never seen or heard of any rodents, there are poison bait boxes around the perimeter fence, presumably because the surrounding land (woodland/nature reserve) and nearby buildings (a large hospital) are potential habitat for rodents.
Think it's one of those risks you can do a lot to minimise by your own vigilance, ensure all vents have intact grills, keep all entry points such as windows and skylights tightly closed, and NEVER leave food or food debris (crumbs, spills, full waste bins etc.) in the van.
Only pest problem I seem to suffer is a surprising number of dead flies after a period of non-use, they certainly aren't in van when I lock and leave it!

They already did
Thank you for that.
I’ve had the dreaded Covid, and quite badly so haven’t been on here for a few days!

Thanks for all the comments. Sounds like we should be ok but the comment about the wire wool is freaking me out about mice getting now 😂
I keep mine on my drive and have a mains powered sonic mouse deterant. I know that battery powered ones are available so if you are worried it might be worth putting on in your caravan.
One example is something like this
------------- We camped for years. In 2019 we bought an Elddis Avante 454. We like it as it is short (6.9m) and fits in our driveway and has a fixed bed.
We had 127 nights away in the caravan in 2023.
