Strangely enough that's one of the faults with our van, along with leaking rooflights. Carry on like you are and you'll be caravan repair expert! Good luck with the repairs.
I read that caravan manufacturers do not pay dealers for doing warranty work. They deduct the amount off the cost when the dealer buys a new caravan to sell. Not exactly a way to get the dealer to work.
------------- We camped for years. In 2019 we bought an Elddis Avante 454. We like it as it is short (6.9m) and fits in our driveway and has a fixed bed.
We had 127 nights away in the caravan in 2023.

They received the parts back in February,so that didn't lead to the delay. My understanding is that less and less workshops are willing to undertake warranty work as the hourly rate paid by Elddis is much less than the rate that would normally be charged for private work. No wonder there's so few approved workshops around.
Sometimes if you offer to pay a little towards the warranty repair, suddenly it can be fitted in. Just be careful how you go about it.
