Hi. I need a new mushroom roof vent for my caravan. The old one is brtittle and now broken. It's a non-standard Adria one. I've checked my local Adria stockist. They have ordered one but delivery time is 10 to 12 weeks! Does anybody know of a different stockist, either who stocks the part or who can get one quicker than mule train from timbuktu? I'm reluctant to use the van with a front roof vent held together by sticky tape.

3 months waiting time is about the norm these days regarding delivery of motor parts and caravan spares from overseas. Vehicle crash repair workshops are also taking longer trying to obtain body panels etc. but it's now affecting other goods as well as we've been told recently that there's a shortage of tea. I just don't know how the lads will manage without a good cuppa!

That is about the norm from Adria, even though they set up a parts warehouse in England supposedly to alleviate the delivery issues.

In saying that, I did get a window from them in 4-6 weeks which I was pleasantly surprised by.

I don't know how you think anyone else could get you it quicker as all parts are ordered through a central ordering system.

Of course the other alternative is to try round some breakers.
