Hi everyone I am new to this site and caravanning. I have made loads of rookie mistakes already some costly. I have a question please does anyone know what size a lunar clubman SB 2011 worm screw size is for the corner support leg.
The worm screw isn't replaceable therefore you have to buy a complete new leg support. The leg support is secured to the underside by a number of screws so it's a matter of just removing the existing one and refitting a replacement of an identical type as some vary in design but do the same job.

It seems they are available been on the today to caravan repair man who said there are 2 different types just need the measurements to find out which one it is.
They are built on an Alko chassis and they have two types of steadies, Standard and heavy duty depending on caravan model. The majority are standard. I think the standard are about 16 mm diameter and heavy duty about 20 mm diameter.

With reference to my previous post. How I arrived at that conclusion was when I collected my caravan from the dealer a few years back I pointed out that the rear nearside leg steady spindle was bent to which his reply was that the spindle cannot be replaced therefore a complete new steady was required. I suppose thinking about it now, the time involved would have been greater to change the spindle so the cost effective solution was to just change the whole steady then tell me a lie rather than be honest with a valid explanation.
It would of been quicker to change the spindle as only needs clip removing and then just wind out. If it was chargeable job he was after more cash out of you,

The corner steady was replaced free of charge under the 3 month warranty that came with the caravan.
