We will be home tommorrow from our last outing and we are thinking about taking battery home. How often should i trickle charge it.Cheers

If the battery stayed fully charged over 7 weeks it doesn't sound like there is much wrong with it. I take our battery off over winter and will be doing so soon as I know we won't be using it again this year. I keep it in a fairly warm place and give it a trickle charge at least once a month. The battery is now more than 6 years old and is absolutely fine. Given that its state of charge each time I put the charger on is good, I could probably get away with charging it less often, but why take that chance?
------------- Best Regards,
Colin

We had issues with our motor mover/ battery in France, got to our first site and the mover moved the caravan for a couple of seconds then a click and mover stopped, managed to get it onto the pitch by turning the motor mover RC on and off and moving it a little at a time, plugged into EHU thinking the battery might be a bit low, then had the same issue getting it off the pitch a couple of days later, travelled down to Vendée and stood in the caravan watching the power touch panel lights whilst moving it, that and the control panel both highlighted the charge was too low so decided to get a new battery, couldn't find anywhere that sold leisure batteries so just got a 95mah car battery from HyperU that did the job till we got home, it's still on there now, we are off to Love2Stay in a few weeks time so will nip into Salop Leisure and get a new leisure battery, will also give us a few days on EHU to fully charge the battery, we do have solar that works although I suspect that the panel had got a little bit too mucky to charge the old battery enough, hopefully should be ok as I cleaned the caravan roof and panel a few weeks ago, no idea how old the battery was that we took out as we only got the caravan two years ago (2018 Swift 560 Celeste) and the battery was already fitted so I just worked on the assumption that it had probably been on there since the caravan was new
