Hello all , just asking for some advice from the people who know, I’m having to sell my 1980 sprite compact caravan and get a little camper due to my wife’s health, it does come with the original awning , any idea how much, thanks for your advice everyone

I have seen these caravans in good nick fetch reasonable prices on eBay. Over a grand. Good bet would be to put it on there at £500 start price & sell it to highest bidder. Buyer collects & pays cash.

Can't give you much of an insight on price, but there is certainly interest in vintage vans in a usable state, so absolutely not 'worthless'!

Like most things a little 'niche', getting the best price from the right buyer can take time.

A quick scan through ebay, would suggest £500-£1000 is a reasonable asking price for a usable vintage van.

I always like to see old vans, couple on the storage yard I use, not dumped and forgotten, but cherished and apparently used! At circa £800 per annum storage fee, someone must love them quite a lot!

I would be inclined to sell the accessories separately, although if you are buying a small camper some of those could still be useful to you
