On returning home with the caravan recently, I found this on the floor near the front of the caravan. It looks like 2 metal plates with a magnet in between so it must be a magnetic catch but I have looked everywhere and can’t seem to find where it has fallen out from.

Does anyone with a Swift recognise it?

It's part of a door locker.
Usually for one of the the lower lockers under seats and fitted to the internal part, not the door itself.
Is one of the doors open and won't close?

We have identical brackets that are magnetic which fit on both of the drinks cabinet door, one at the top and one at the bottom. The magnetic catch itself is spring loaded and screwed to the inside of the cupboard that mate up with each bracket to securely close the cabinet door. You may not have the same layout as ours but worth posting just in case it is and there is a bracket missing.
I think there is a black plastic grub screw that screws into the centre hole which secures the bracket into position to the door.

Thanks Tango. We don’t have a drinks cabinet but it sounds like it is definitely a door or locker catch so I’ll have to have a really good look next time we are there.
