Fiona: This is a bit like Monty Python. My first nights in a tent were in 1946 in my grandmother's garden. This in was in Calais

With my wife, our first camping was in Italy in 1967. We were sleeping on camp beds but did not have ground sheets. The legs of the bed just sank into the sand and we had very damp sleeps and the children all moaned about being cold...ah happy days

You are only a youngster,    20+ years since I see my sixty. But still caravanning for soon to be 52 years. I would like to thing I can do 60 of caravanning.
