I have a bailey ranger 540/6 2008 with a whale truma crystal pump. I tour so I empty my tank after each trip when I refill when I'm pitched up, the water spurts out of the inlet. It eventually fills my tank so I know the water does go through but half of my barrel ends up on the floor because the waters spurting out at the same time. I've replaced the o ring, I've suckes water through the pump to see if there a problem there but water comes through fine. You can hear the pump working when I use the taps. I've tried pushing it tight to the van when it's off and on and it just still spurts. I've had the barrel on the side amd stood up. I've not managed to find someone with the same pump to borrow to see if it's my pump. Please help its driving me crazy!
If you have already replaced the O rings and there is still leaking then the cause is usually a hairline crack the inlet, which means a new inlet will have to be fitted. They crack for two reasons, either when putting the hose in or out wriggling it if tight or cracked through frost.

Thank you kevin-t but it's not the same one, I have taken apart mine to check the pipes are intact and they were fine. It leaks from in-between the caravan and the spurt with the o rings on
This is my water tank in the van, the blue pipe to the top right is water pipe that it travels through, this is the older version isn't it? So would it have a non return valve?
Hi Take apart the block connector that is attached to the sub pump, that plugs into the caravan inlet.you will see it has 2 screws and check the hose connection inside, it may have become dislodged. It’s quite easy to check. Last year my pump packed up I got a new crystal pump but my connection block was different so had to swop over my old block on to new pump water pipe inside was just pushed on and reassembling connection holds it in place
The OP states they have taken the pump apart and it's fine.
