We had a mid-sized caravan, and used the dinette as a double bed, which we kept made up. It meant we were sleeping across the caravan, and climbing over each other to get up in the night to go the loo.
So, we got a bigger caravan with an island bed, but its a gas-guzzler to tow.
What we need is a lightweight, smaller caravan with settees that are long enough to sleep on lengthways, rather than across.
Any suggestions?
That is exactly what we have, and for the same reason. However, it is a 1992 Elddis Wisp.
------------- Best Regards,
Colin

We have a 2016 Bailey Pursuit Platinum Edition which is a 13 foot 2 berth with two long front seats which we use as singles. I'm 6'4" tall and fit.
Can be used as singles or a huge double which could be used lengthways.
It's for sale on Gumtree at the moment with lots of pics etc.

We have an Elddis Avante 454. We had it upgraded to 1500kg (I can't remember the total weight before the upgrade)
It is a two berth and has a fixed bed with enough spce so I can get up, walk round the bed to the toilet and back without disturbing my wife.
------------- We camped for years. In 2019 we bought an Elddis Avante 454. We like it as it is short (6.9m) and fits in our driveway and has a fixed bed.
We had 127 nights away in the caravan in 2023.

We have a 2 berth 2012 Elddis Oddysey 264 and we love it, it is a smallish SA with large single beds and a big usable shower, tows like a dream and has everything that we need.
On a purely personal note we don't like fixed beds and we definitely do not like Baileys
