Is it usual to receive this to be signed by ourselves and the workshop and returned to Coachman after a damp repair under warranty? Long story, our dealer closed and we had difficulty finding someone who would do the work

Never ever had to sign for any warranty work,but has always been done by our dealer. Never had Coachman Caravan as 90% of our caravans have been Swifts. Maybe it is because Nene are independent and not a Coachman dealer.

I had a small repair done to my Elddis under warranty. It was a replacement shelf. When I sent to collect my caravan, they insisted that I went and checked their work and then I had to sign to say I was happy with it.
I wonder if the manufacturers insist upon this before paying the dealer.

We camped for years. In 2019 we bought an Elddis Avante 454. We like it as it is short (6.9m) and fits in our driveway and has a fixed bed.
We had 127 nights away in the caravan in 2023.

Possibly, Coachman have confirmed that this is a requirement.unfortunately we are not happy with the so called "work" done.
