We are new to caravaning,was just wondering if anyone can help ,water isn't heating up,don't know if we are doing something wrong or is there a switch we need to turn on ,our towing caravan is an abbey county ,any advice would be helpful also heating only blowing cold air ,no hot thanks

The first job is to get the water through the hot taps with no bubbling (then the cold taps), this is to fill the hot water tank.
Make sure the mains and or gas is turned on, then try again.

To honest we need to know if the water heater is gas, electric or both. I'm also assuming you've got the EHU mains cable plugged in and all the trips are on. The same applies to the caravan heating. If the water heater won't work on gas check to see if there's a cowel on the heater vent on the outside of caravan, if so the water heater will not work, remove the cowel. As for the main heating make sure the gas is on and bleed through by turning on the cooker rings. I'm not sure about the age of your caravan but with my old age creeping on it sounds similar to my old Abbey Chorus.

I know you are new to caravan ing and it may sound abit of a hassle but once you get the hang of it it's a great way to get away to places you've never been. It's just a learning curve and best the holidays you've ever had.
