Hi Guys

We are considering swapping our Avondale 556/6 for a Lunar Quasar 615.  we have no experience of the Lunar but we would really appreciate your comments.  We have been happy with the Avondale but would like a change!!

Thanks

Phil

Hi Phil, we looked at the 615 and did not think much to the quality or finish, we had an Avondale 640-6 and that was bad but the luner was about the same, things loose and falling off. We went for the Abbey in the end feels much more solid..Time will tell...

We have the Lunar quasar 615. (ours is a dealer special so its called a Lunar frystar 615)  ours is just coming up to 1 year old and all i can say is that its an absolutely fantastic van. Incidently we looked at the Avondale range but we found them to be quite old fashioned looking compared to the Lunars, also didnt like the upholstery. We have had no problems with our 615 at all and we use it every weekend (apart from 3 last year!) The only thing we did have was a couple of things needed after delivery 1 electric socket was a dud and needed new bulb in 1 of main lights. Ours goes in for its 1st service at the end of the month, cant wait for the new season to start. (this is our 2nd Lunar, we had a Quasar 525 at 1st)

Hi we have a 556/6 Avondale but if we had the grunt with the tow car we would go for the Lunar 615 anytime. I love the idea of totally seperate quarters for the kids - cos they get up so early! lol :-)

That said we love the space and layout of the 556/6. Keep dreaming of a tow car with more grunt (hope the boss gives me a pay rise!)
