What do I say guys..... All I can say is that up to now have not ever thought of flying a flag/windsox.. but you have converted me..... I am looking into flags and want a windsock.... and everything else........
Take care guys, if I see you on a campsite I will bring you ear plugs and a vat of ale to keep you all happy.
Actually seriously isn't it fun how different we all are........

Completely agree tent peg Don't worry though already got earplugs after many years of camping they are something that goes very close to the top of my must have list saves so much hassle
and seeing as i managed to sleep through an ambulance arriving near to us to pick up a certain person, who had Fallen in a ditch and broke an ankle at a certain meet some people on here were amazed how good those ear plugs were Slept like a log through the lot
Whatever makes people happy is what I say , why should anyone want to spoil the enjoyment of another . I may sometimes have a chuckle when I see the flags but its obvious that the people doing it enjoy doing it so why should it bother me. Some people dislike dogs but it doesn't make me leave my dog at home and why should it .
Go out and enjoy yourselves and make yourselves some happy memories.
We allways fly our pirate flags , Last year at Devon Kids on the site thought we were great they played pirates all week. Even got asked if we did voodoo!!
My hubby cant understand the need for the wind socks, we have watched folk on several sites constantly fiddle with them, one min they are up then taken down to be replaced with a different type which is then taken down and other put up.
He recons its a secret swingers communication code going on on caravan sites arround the uk and I say he is just jelous coz he cant crack the code and get an invite.

Romany where do you get the poles from and how do you attach to the caravan
our pole we have for our flags is the extension for the aerial and we attach it to the van via the stick on pads that came with the aerial and it does the job ok , we have gone through 4 telescopic fishing rods in 2 years but 18m later and this one is still going strong.
