ok i have lunar van put it in storage but couldnt use wheel clamp cause they pack them in told my insuarance people (caravan guard )and they wont insure it when in storage any one know of any decent insuarance company's that will i mean wheel clamp wont stop them just slows them down MR INSUARANCE MAN
Why tell them it wasnt actually on the van when in storage? If someone was going to pinch it, they'd take the clamp off anyway! And any other security you happen to have. If someone is determined enough to steal it, then they'll steal it whatever. I'd prefer not to have it back either if its been stolen.

hi abi pawnstar, welcome to ukcssorry to tell you but from my experience over the last 7 years,i think you will find all insurance companies expect a minimum of a wheel clamp and a hitch lock.
------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.

So what do all the other vans. There must be quite a few then that are insured with no wheel clamp on and they havent told insurance. Bet the stoarage site wont cover you either.
I insure with NFU &, IIRC, they require a wheelclamp or a hitchlock but I'd check with them before making any decisions.
Where in Lancs are you looking for? My caravan is in an excellent indoor facility near the M6/M58. If you search on "storage" on this forum you should be able to find the owners email address. If you can't find it, reply to this post & I'll dig the address out & ask the owner if it's OK to repost it.
THANKS TO EVERY ONE HAVE SORTED IT OUT
ADRIAN FLUX WILL COVER IT WITH EITHER HITCH LOCK OR WHEEL CLAMP LOOKS LIKE OTHER COMPANIES JUST WANT THE SAFE BET
