we are thinking of swapping from the AA to the above. do any of the people on here who have Mayday also have the personal cover option on top of comprehensive cover ?

the reason i ask is that it appears that you and partner are covered in any vehicle if you choose this add on .therefore i cant see the need for choosing the other option of insuring a 2nd or 3rd car at the same address which in our case would run out more expensive than personal cover.

what i wouldnt want to happen is to have a breakdown in a vehicle not registered with mayday and them not come out to recover/repair despite having this personal cover option.

have i got this right or have i got the wrong end of the stick ?

thanks for the replies , that makes my mind up , dump the AA, save 20 quid and go with Mayday.

I have the same cover as Jeniffer cost me £90.00 the AAwanted £155.00 for identical cover so it's a bit more than £20.00 saving.
