 hi !  been looking at second hand vans,can anyone tell me how i can tell if the seller is the genuine owner of the van. been reading the links on here to buying second hand if a van is  cris reg does the owner have some sort of certificate as proof of ownership

 phoned about a van tonight  and asked if it was cris reg the seller said he thinks so because its got markings on window  but no paperwork will i buy it or avoid it?

will i buy it or avoid it?last bit[8D] post 1992 all vans are marked on the windows,not imports[:o)] you could ask for the chassis number and ring Cris yourself but you will have to pay a fee.
