Yes it is a very reasonable temp, probably just sweatshirt or jumper would surfice, but it can be quite a trek from the carparks or waiting for a shuttlebus if the weather is particularly cold. I know some events have a purpose built cloakroom that you pay a pound (maybe more)to leave coat/bags etc but cant say as I saw one at the Caravan show (didnt look either mind you)

When we were there Saturday it was very warm. There was a cloakroom if you wanted to leave your coats, we just carried our fleeces with us.

We were there on Tuesday and the weather outside was pretty awful so you needed you outside coat. We left ours in the cloakroom, cost £1 each. Inside I found it quite warm and wearing a shirt with a cotton gillet was more than enough, a fleece would have been too hot..

Went last sunday, wore a jumper & had a waterproof on top, admit it was cold outside but okay once we got inside.

Saw the cloakroom but as we took the little un with us as well, all the coats nded up on the pushchair,a word of warning if anyones goin this saturday or sunday, get there early as the queues for the car parks are bad we,sat for ages once in the vicinity of the NEC,must have been 30 mins +

At least the car park was free, unlike the concerts there when the robbing b******s charge £7 to park

Enjoy we did

I'm pretty sure the car parking charges are dictated by the organisers not the NEC. i.e. you're more likely to pay £35 for a concert and £7.00 parking but would you pay £42 for same concert with free parking? Think it is a psychological game organisers play.....there again I could be way wrong!

Muddi, you are probably right in saying the parking is dictated by the organisers, as the CC and C&CC most likely sponser the event as do the big main dealers, at the end of the day if the thought of free parking will bring the extra few hundred punters in and they spend some of their hard earned cash on bargains at various stalls, then come closing time everybody goes home happy,

best regards, Martin

CC and C & CC don't sponsor the shows, they are clubs run for the members and I think there would be an outcry if that happened! The sponsors are the dealers etc who exhibit.

It does get very hot in there, when we went we ended up carrying all our coats & jumpers in the rucksacks that we'd taken our food in, once we'd eaten it.
