Hi Again,

Does anyone know where we could rent or lease land in hertfordshire preferably in Barnet, Borehamwood, Potters Bar Area, Enfield, so we can live and keep our motorhome. As we work in Barnet area and would like somewhere local to stay.

Its again nice to know that i can maybe get help on here.

i have tried the farms locally and they are owned by the council which i was amazed to hear.

If you are planning to live in your motorhome the land you require to park on will need planning permission. The best bet is to look for a farm that does caravan storage and see what their policy is. I doubt very much if you will find any land where you can simply rent it and live on it. If it is just a peice of ground it will have alsorts of complications like change of use etc. Perhaps the local council would be the best bet for your first port of call and ask them if they know of any such facility in the area.

hello there is a storage place in hemel hempstead near the burnsfiel park the one that blow up this year.it's over to the back some where i only know this cos we live in borehamwood,i hope this helps if i can find out more info i'll post it on for you. maybe you could go on the route planner and see where it is.

Hi , I know it is strictly against the rules but i know of a few who have stayed on Cls for 30 nights then moved on to another one .There was a thread on one of the forums where some guys were tut tuting at the use by non holiday makers /but as a lot of Cls are underused i personaly cant see a problem just dont tell other campers what you do during the day .Good luck in finding somewhere    Coljac

i have just joined the caravan club and found out what C L means and had a look but there arnt any in Barnet, if anyone knows of a place please let me know. even potters bar would help or borehamwood.
