I think the problem is with the 'On line' bit, not the uninsurable bit. Most of the caravan insurers havent been dragged into the 20th C yet when it comes to internet quoting. I tried C&CC on line wihtout a result, had to ring them for a meaningful quotation. And when I tried Bakers of Cheltenham on line they were a disaster. Tried to ring them twice, then gave up. Norwich Union got my business in the end.
Overall, internet is bad news for insurance. Everyhting else seems to work ok though, Ive spent hundreds of pounds on-line getting my new van fitted out.
Im now back in UK with my new Hymer Living Pulse btw. With smooth silver sides and distinctive livery shes a beaut, and she attracted many, many admiring glances whenever we stopped over on a site. They were queuing up to get inside her and have a peek! I should have charged admission! She towed nicely, and was very well behaved and lady-like for my first ever towing experience, and of course being the intrepid type I just had to do this overseas on the wrong side of the road...jeeez!
I just lurrrrvvvvvv my new Hymie! And all for less than the cost of a Sprite.
------------- Veni Vidi Velcro.... I came, I saw, I stuck around!
