How can you have received obscene e-mails through this website, which I for one find hard to believe, when you have no e-mail link in your signature or profile?

You have already made up your mind as to the truthfulness of my statement before you made this posting.....
As I have posted earlier, people can belong to more than one forum concerning caravans or vintage caravans.
The obscene email messages we have received began when we joined this Forum and posted an advertisement listing an Airstream for sale.
If you visit the Classified forum, you will find that it is possible to email an inquiry about an ad posting when you view the ad.
Again, no other private party from the States is attempting to offer what Amy & I are doing; which is to perhaps make available "truly vintage" AFFORDABLE caravans and motorhomes to interested private parties and families in the U.K. and Europe.
In doing so, we are p*ssing off certain people; we pose a threat to a very comfortable living that they are making......
Thank you for your post

Hi Jim
Do you have a website with pictures of the vans you have done? I find renovations facsinating.
Cheers
Thanks for your interest...
The renovation work I do personally is to bring back the caravan or motorhome to the original condition using all original materials (except for new floorcoverings, draperies, upolsteries & matresses....)
The first Silver Streak Caravan took me about 8 months and 250 hours of labor; this one sold to a Dealer who shipped it to Japan....
The Silver Streak motorhome took me about 13 months and 400 hours of labor....
We are glad to share images of vintage caravans from our personal collection as well as pictures of vintage caravans of different manufacturers that we have for sale....
If you are seriously considering the purchase of a vintage caravan or just curious about American vintage caravans in general, please email us at

Any emails you've got are absolutely nothing to do with this forum, or the forum members, they are a direct result of your advert, upsetting other people / companies in the industry.
