ah 4 more days to go before i pick up my first caravan. After five years of trailer tenting i cant wait.
The van im picking up is an
ABBEY PIPER 15/5 EX bit nervous about towing for the first time but before i hit the motorway think i may find a quiet car park to practise in first.
The kids are excited all 3 of them the g/f also and even my bloody pooch(love her really).
Now after last weeks fiasco with the towbar centre i was using i now have my bar in place and am off to the dealers to pick up my van so here we go.............again sorry admin if this seems like a repaet thread but my kids are so bloody excited i have had to threaten them with " i wont buy the bloody caravan"
You will soon get used to seeing a big white thing in your rear view mirror and the kids telling you that the van is still behind you . Good luck on your travels

And a warm welcome to the UKCS "Tin Tent Brigade" just take it easy at first Chris, check every thing twice before setting out? take your time driving their, once at your destination enjoy setting it up and playing with it he he he .
By the way, do you have a stabilizer, hitch type? In that caser don't grease the towball. The types that works by clamping on the towball need degreased towballs, as they work on friction.
