We've recently purchased a Freedom Sunseeker 400 caravan (little 10 foot cutie!), and I'm just wondering in my silly blonde brain how on earth an awning fits to it, if we were thinking of buying one?

We're looking at this one:

Our caravan doesn't have any rails to attach it to, so does it (to quote this ad),  "sit just over the top of the van"? And how would that work?!!

Confused!
